Nougat

I have decided that I will make nougat this Christmas. But I only have one recipe for it in my cookbook collection, so I am trawling the Internet for variety. Here are some of my finds, lots of cherries and pistachios involved, but some more unusual recipes too.
 

Column 1 Italian nougat, Cherry pistachio nougat, White chocolate nougat
Column 2 Basic almond nougat, Cranberry and pistachio nougat, Pistachio sour cherry nougat, Pistachio, cranberry and honey nougat
Column 3 Cranberry, pistachio and almond nougat, Apricot and almond nougat, Malted milk chocolate nougat
Column 4 Pistachio, walnut and coconut nougat, Soft and chewy nougat
