Four men, a digger, and a six-metre skip

Over the Christmas break, things have still be progressing at our house. We had some drainage put in on the property, so what was once a fairly uninspiring garden is now a dust bath. Things are heating up in Melbourne, so this is a bad time to be planting new grass and other plants, but in the meanwhile I can prepare the soil.

Darren built a gate to stop the dogs (and Miss 1.5, until she works out the latch process - I give her a week) from sneaking down the side of the house.

We pulled up the hideous carpet tiles, to find a hideous floor underneath.
